Harrison and Rowe Ltd is awarded the internal partition, ceiling and plastering package at the Lancashire County Cricket Club (Phase 2b) for Morgan Sindall, and as this is our first project in partnership with Morgan Sindall we intend to ensure its successful conclusion.
The project involves the fitting out of a part refurbishment and part new-build pavilion to be occupied by the members of Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The design incorporates the part of the original pavilion which housed the Long Room and associated lounges, and also the twin dome topped towers (which are so recognisable to this famous old ground), into a modern four storey steel framed structure with glass to large areas of the external facade.
There are to be nine executive boxes on the fourth floor giving fantastic views of the pitch, and exceptional corporate facilities befitting a venue of this stature.
The works are due to be completed before the end of May 2013, and should be fully available for use by the time the Ashes Test Match takes place later in the summer.
