Harrison and Rowe Ltd is pleased to announce the successful completion of our works at Chorley Community Fire Station for Mansell Construction.
Chorley community Fire Station is one of a number of fire stations to be re-built as part of government plans to overhaul fire station facilities around the country.
The new building reflects Lancashire Fire and Rescue Authority’s aim to continue to provide the required level of service at 21st century standards.
The modern design of the building incorporates facilities for community use, including meeting rooms and multi function lecture rooms.
Working to a tight schedule, it was important to work closely with Mansell’s site team to enable smooth co-ordination of our works in relation to works carried out by other trades.
By regular communication and careful consideration of the overall requirements of this project, it was easier to plan and execute our works in such a way as to benefit the scheme as a whole, and it was ultimately very satisfying to be able to complete our works to a very high standard on time and within the required budget.
